Los Ángeles. 16 de enero 2011. Mi actual microcosmos idólatra, se desplazó hasta el hotel Beverly Hilton. En el mismo habitáculo compartían cena y aplausos, Al Pacino (y su absurdo peinado de piña), Michael Douglas (recuperado), Jon Damm (Don Draper en Mad Men), James Franco, Bruce Willis, Robert De Niro, Christian Bale, Jeremy Irons, Robert Downey Jr. y Matthew Morrison (el profe de Glee). Es posible que este accidente jamás se repita.
Johnny Deep y su chicle y Brad Pitt y Angelina Jolie (los robaplanos oficiales de la gala) no fueron los únicos en recibir las perlas incendiarias con las que Ricky Gervais inauguró la entrega de premios a priori sugestiva. Los comentarios a propósito de Hugh Hefner, ¿Tom Cruise?, Charlie Sheen, Cher, Lost… prometían unos Globos de Oro que paulatinamente se desinflaban con agradecimientos plomíferos. En Madrid, Pepe Colubi en estado de gracia (como siempre) comentaba las jugadas (también twitteó) en compañía de Juan Zabala.
La peli del año dicen que es La Red Social, mi favorita (casi todas las que competirán en los Oscar se alojan –de momento- en otra Red más genérica), es Cisne Negro, no se la pierdan. Natalie Portman está para reservar un vuelo (el primero), ir a su casa y entregarle todos los premios del planeta, incluso un Nobel. La propuesta de Darren Aronofsky, brillante, no será “la sorpresa del año”, ya sonó la flauta mágica con Kathyn Bigelow. Una lástima.
